Who we are
Nest Homes is a family-run agency based in Cardiff. We've been working in the city's property market for 35 years, and today we handle sales, lettings and student housing across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Unusually for an agent, we also run our own building and refurbishment team. That means if a house needs a new kitchen before it goes on the market, or a landlord wants to add an en-suite, we do the work ourselves rather than passing it on.
We're Propertymark regulated with client money protection, and licensed with Rent Smart Wales. Most of our work is in Cathays, Roath, Canton, Pontcanna, Heath and Cyncoed, with regular instructions out in Penarth and Barry.

Harriet Street
We took a traditional three-bedroom house on Harriet Street and converted it into a six-bedroom home, with a new kitchen, a full bathroom refit and a reworked hallway throughout.
Richards Street
On Richards Street we added en-suite bathrooms to the bedrooms, giving tenants more privacy and lifting the rental value of the property.
Coburn Street
At Coburn Street we added outdoor seating and picnic benches, giving the tenants some usable garden space to sit out and socialise in.

Many of our listings include a 360° virtual tour, so you can look around at your own pace before booking a viewing in person. It's particularly useful for students, relocating buyers and busy landlords who can't always get to Cardiff for an in-person visit.
Student houses in Cathays and Roath
We let and manage student houses within walking distance of Cardiff University and Cardiff Met. They're furnished, bills can be included, and the same local team looks after the house for the whole tenancy.
Because we do our own maintenance, repairs don't get lost between an agent and a landlord, so you report it to us and we send our own people round.
